The movie adaptation of the manga, Battle Angel Alita, appears to be finally coming out. There has been hardly any information about this film released at this point including stills or a trailer. This movie has been in development for decades with James Cameron spearheading the project. The book is available to pre-order on Amazon for Kindle. Here is the official description.

The official novelization to the highly anticipated science fiction film Alita: Battle Angel, based on Yukito Kishiro’s Battle Angel Alita manga, set to be released on July 20, 2018. The film is directed by Robert Rodriguez, written and produced by James Cameron (Titanic, Avatar) and stars Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley and Mahershala Ali.

  1. I had no idea this film was finally happening. That’s so weird, as if its coming out of nowhere. How doubly strange that I learn about this from news about a novelization. In this day and age! Anyway, thanks for this. 2018 looks to be an interesting year for film already.
