MGM tells EW the date change will better serve the movie, as both Roth and Willis are filming other projects through the end of the year, so moving to March allows both to free themselves up for the Death Wish publicity campaign. The month has also worked for similarly themed pictures in the past, including Olympus Has Fallen (which went on to gross $98.9 million domestically), 21 Jump Street ($138.4 million), and Limitless ($79.2 million).

That isn’t a huge delay tho. I saw the title and was expecting next November.
