About a month ago, I posted that I was surprised to see retailers were accepting pre-orders for the novelization of Alita: Battle Angel because there had been next to nothing about the movie that had been revealed up to that point. Suffice it to say, I was a little more than surprised to see an official trailer released for this. This motion picture has been in the works for literally decades, and I have mixed feelings about my first impression from the trailer.  I am a huge fan of almost everyone involved in this adaptation of the famous manga, and I have faith that it will be worth watching. I might need to keep a couple of decades worth of anticipation in check though.
